This book really stands out from any other financial planning book!
A great read for anyone wanting more confidence and direction in their financial life. The stories are relatable, especially for me and I imagine for other somewhat high-earning young families that still feel financially unprepared. The author does a great job breaking down financial planning without jargon, focusing instead on priorities, values, and making decisions with confidence. The chapter on defining “enough” and treating your family finances with the same intention you’d bring to a business really stood out.The author clearly loves the work he does, and it comes through in every chapter - from helping families articulate their goals to breaking down the emotional side of money. This book is approachable and full of useful takeaways.

Very valuable read
Gideon Drucker offers clear, compelling financial advice, especially for those of us who make a decent income, but lose track of our expenses. There is great information, answering basic strategy and more complex ideas like donor advised funds as a way to maximize giving and tax advantage at the same time. I highly recommend this book.

The Case for Getting Professional Help
If you've ever wondered whether you really need a financial advisor, this book answers that question. It shows what's possible when someone dedicates their entire professional life to optimizing money, not just managing it. For anyone who needs a mindset shift around finances, this is an excellent place to start.

Must Read!
This book is an essential read for anyone who is doing well professionally but feels unsure if they are truly optimizing their financial future. Gideon Drucker cuts through the typical "financial noise" and provides a clear, strategic roadmap for navigating complex topics like tax planning, RSUs, and real estate investing. What makes this book different is its high information density. It doesn't waste time on vague theories; instead, it offers practical strategies for "HENRYs" (High Earners, Not Rich Yet) who are juggling careers and families. The chapters on solving the "$10 vs. $10k problem" and managing concentrated stock positions are particularly eye-opening, helping you focus on the big wins rather than getting bogged down in minor details.Whether you are just starting to build a family or are well into a demanding career, this book provides the clarity and confidence needed to build a plan that actually fits your life. It is simple, actionable, and incredibly effective.

Worth the read!
I picked up this book expecting fairly generic financial advice, but it ended up being a much-needed reality check. Gideon doesn’t talk to you like you’re starting from zero.. instead, he recognizes that many high earners are doing well, just without a clear system tying everything together. The way he challenges what it really means to be “on track” feels honest and relatable. It’s the kind of book that makes you stop and think about whether you’re being as intentional with your money as you are with the rest of your life. I really enjoyed reading through this!

must read for HENRY’s
This book is a powerful guide for high-earning professionals who want to use their money to design a meaningful life. Gideon reinforced my belief that financial freedom is less about having everything and more about having clarity on what truly matters, the confidence to act, and the right team to pursue it.A few years ago, I took a six-month sabbatical that completely changed my trajectory: I went from feeling stuck in the Midwest to moving to San Francisco, finding a job I love, and gaining the freedom to spend more time outdoors. None of that would’ve been possible without a financial plan and an advisor who helped me build a cash-flow strategy I could trust.

All Book Proceeds Will Be Donated To Charity

One of my biggest motivations for building wealth is being able to use my money to make an impact to the causes that inspire me and the people that I am committed to supporting.

With that in mind, I wanted to share a bit about the two causes to which I will be donating 100% of the book’s proceeds:

      The Travis Manion Foundation

This charity is named after Marine Corps 1st Lt Travis Manion who gave the ultimate sacrifice on April 29th , 2007, on his second deployment to Iraq. While on patrol searching for a suspected insurgent house in Fallujah, Travis, his fellow Marines, and Iraqi Army counterparts were ambushed. Travis led a counterattack against enemy forces, drawing fire away from his wounded comrades and allowing every member of his patrol to survive. Travis won the Silver Star and Bronze Star with Valor for his actions under attack. He died a hero.

The foundation's mission is to empower veterans and the families of fallen heroes to inspire & develop character in future generations. With our support, veterans continue their service, build connections with each other, and thrive in their post-military lives through mentoring programs, service-based trips, and community service projects. As a result, communities prosper, and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation.

The ethos of the Travision Manion Foundation is “If not me, then who..” It’s an attitude and a way of approaching life we should all strive for.

The UJA’s Federation: Israel At War

On October 7th 2023, Israel was savagely invaded and attacked by Hamas terrorists. Over 1,200 innocent Israeli citizens were brutally murdered, thousands more injured, and over 240 Israelis were kidnapped- including babies, the elderly, and entire families- before being dragged into the Hamas dungeons.  Entire communities in Southern Israel were devastated. It was the single deadliest day for the Jewish People since the Holocaust.

In the 2 years that followed, over 500 Israeli soldiers lost their lives fighting in Israel’s defensive war aimed at uprooting the Hamas terrorists and returning the hostages. Hundreds of thousands more Israeli civilians were uprooted from their homes (in Northern Israel) as a result of Hezbollah rocket fire.

As a former Paratrooper in the Israel Defense Forces, my heart mourns for my brothers and sisters in Israel, including the families of 2 of my officers who were killed defending our people.

2 years on, The UJA continues to provide essential support to the victims of October 7th as they rebuild their lives following this horrific attack.
