Right Fit Call
Scheduling your 15 Minute Call will give us both a chance to make sure your situation matches our expertise. After all, you wouldn’t see a Cardiologist if you needed foot surgery. This intro “Fit” Call focuses exclusively on your family’s financial goals & priorities, your current and future means to achieve them, and whether our team of fiduciaries is the right fit to help you bridge that gap.
Because we only work with a select group of clients, we use this call to determine if we ,are a good fit and if not we will happily point you to the right expert for your unique needs. If we are a good fit, before our next meeting, we will send you a quick link to fill out to better prepare us for our next (& deeper dive) get together.
Alignment Meeting
The next step is a 60 Minute virtual meeting that will serve three functions.
1. Our team will get crystal clear on your financial goals, needs and concerns, as well as learn about your current financial situation.
2. You will get a clear understanding of who we are, our process, and our approach. We will walk through the Financial Life Plan® process so you understand exactly what’s involved in hiring our team to coordinate your financial life.
3. Assuming we all agree on next steps, we will schedule the third & final meeting in Phase 1: The Discovery process - Your Path Forward Meeting.
Path Forward Meeting
During this meeting, we will identify the biggest gaps in your current set up & explain how we'd go about solving them. We will present our Financial Priorities Agenda providing you with where we think the opportunities are in your financial life for improvement. It's following this meeting that you'll decide if you'd like to hire Drucker Wealth as your financial team.
To help you make a smart decision, we ask you to answer these questions after this meeting:
- Do I like, trust, and respect the Drucker Wealth team?
- Do the (financial & lifestyle) benefits outweigh the cost?
- Do I understand and agree with their investment approach?
- Does their emphasis on financial life planning match what I'm looking for?
If you decide that we aren’t a good fit to work together...That's ok! We will wish you the best and will be available if/when your needs change in the future.
Launch Meeting & Opening Your Accounts
Once you engage Drucker Wealth as your financial team, we will schedule your Launch Meeting.
Transferring your investment accounts is simple and secure thanks to the ACAT system, which moves assets "in-kind" meaning nothing is sold or changed during the transfer. Whether you’re moving an IRA or brokerage account, your investments stay exactly the same; the only difference is where you log in. We don’t make any changes to your portfolio until you approve a personalized plan built around your goals and tax strategy.
Your Client Service Lead will provide a weekly update until all your accounts are brought over to the new custodian and, once complete, we will show you how to access your new accounts and your client portal.
Planning Kick-Off Meeting
The planning work begins! This meeting will start the financial planning process...building your family’s roadmap from the ground floor during our first 90 Days working together.
Our planning team will gather all the financial documents we don't have yet (tax returns, stock option vesting schedule, insurance policies, tax returns, budget etc.) and help you get acclimated to your Drucker Wealth Client Portal.
We'll then schedule meetings to review your cash flow, investments, insurance and estate planning. For each topic, we'll identify any actionable items to ensure you stay on track to reach your goals.
In plain English, we will explain exactly what you need to do to reach your financial goals. We will break down your present and future cash flow, analyze your spending & saving habits, reorganize your financial priorities (if necessary), and run through your plan’s diagnostics.
Ongoing Stewardship
After Implementation, our role is to ensure that your financial plan continues to evolve as your life does so you can focus on living your life & enjoying your time.
We’ll meet regularly to evaluate your needs, track your progress, & optimize your plan.
You'll meet with your Lead Planner in the Fall & Spring and with our tax team as appropriate throughout the year.
* There will be times that we meet more regularly than twice per year because you have a lot going on in a short window (stock options to exercise, a home purchase to consider, a new job to evaluate etc.) You are NEVER on the clock with us.
* We also have clients that love how proactive & available we are but prefer to be more hands-off themselves and don't schedule all those meetings (maybe preferring more regular email communication)...That's fine too! We work for you and will match our advice/communication style to what you prefer!
